Are shy guys completely screwed when it comes to women?

I mean if a guy is too shy to ever go up and approach a woman or ask her out.

Um I would say yes. I was a shy person untill I hit my growth spurt. Thing is many women liked me I just never talked to them and they were always shy to talk to me so nothing ever happened. You should break out of your bubble just casually talk to someone over facebook or something. You would be surprised at who might like you.

The shy guy will be screwed most times, but he will find someone, one day, that he will like so much that he will overpower his shyness and ask her out. As she likes him too, and believe it is cute for this shy guy to have done that, will say yes, and you'll end up in a happy long-lasting relationship.

I like a shy guy :) shy guys actually are more interesting & nicer than most other guys when you get to know them. Also, shy guys seem to treat a girl better.

Yes. Some girls find shyness attractive, but if you're shy, then no one even notices you. Take a leap - if it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out... at least you tried.

I used to be extremely shy. I started dating a girl I met online (it's much easier to be less shy if you're just a voice), and ever since I've been so much more confident. Maybe taking that leap is what someone needs to lose their shyness...

Yes but not totally. Sometimes, he'll be forced to meet a girl or she'll approach him and then the problem is solved. It just takes longer.

yes, obviously more guys struggle than girls do, or just guys are more prone at struggling with girls than girls are with guys

For the billionth time: YES! Learn to get over your shyness! You learned to get over crapping in your pants once upon a time. You'd have been screwed if you hadn't learned to get over that too!
