Why are shy socially awkward guys not enough for women?

Social skills are important in relationships, romantically or not.

Learning how to communicate, boundaries, consent, body language, and how to interact with people is important.
If not it takes a lot of effort from the other person, misunderstandings can come up, and more.
Personally, I can be pretty shy and socially awkward myself, so it would be a whole disaster if the guy is too.

And socially awkward people can make others uncomfortable or be uncomfortable themselves to interact with others, and that's not what you want in any kind of relationship.
You want to be with someone whom you can be yourself and feel at ease with them.

People with social skills are better at communicating and making people at ease, being around them. It's an attractive trait.

We could frame it in terms of weakness/cowardice/lack of confidence with all this alpha male talk and I suspect that's one component affecting attractiveness, but if the woman is genuinely interested in a man's personality, a shy guy still gives her very little to go by.

If he doesn't open up to her, then he doesn't really let her know how he really thinks and feels. It's for the same reason I'm not into shy girls as someone who values personality more than looks (I do value looks to some degree but personality is far more important to me). A shy girl doesn't let me know how she truly thinks and feels. She might open up if I'm patient and date her at some point, but why should I do that when there are other women who aren't shy that I can get to know, and become attracted to on a deeper level, far sooner?

I did try dating shy ones when I started. I thought they were cute in a way and I imagined their personality, even though they barely communicated it to me, as sweet and kind. And while I suspect there are some shy ones genuinely like this, all the shy ones I ended up dating were the most insecure, most emotionally unstable, and more emotionally high-maintenance. So I ceased to like shy ones after that. I suspect there are some really good ones but I no longer wanted to take that gamble and discover, six+ weeks into dating, that the shy girl I'm dating is such a difficult person to get along with once she starts opening up when there are women who open up to me right away.

I suspect at least some women might be like this. They might not all look down on shy men or think them weak, but still find a problem in that they can't get to know who they are very well at all. No one is a mind reader and personality is largely communicated through comfortable and open speech.

Cos woman don't know we exist, like let's say for example a guy is so shy and feels insignificant, that he never leaves the house... How will girls even exists?

They don't wanna bother him... Also we seem boring to girls since we never speak or open up... We seem uninterested.

The only way you can get a girlfriend is if you be confident or act confidenct.. and actually talk to girls... If you don't have the bravery to do that you're jus gonna have to deal with it and be alone for your whole life like me... It's sad I know but it is what it is... I can't help how I am... You either become confident or accept it... you can't complain about what you never put in the effort to change
