Approached a girl for the first time and was nervous. I asked her if we could talk for 2 minutes, was that creepy or desperate?

i have been seeing this very shy girl 4-5 days a week for the last 10 months now. she did smile at me once, but im not sure if this was meant for me, so i just quickly looked down because im shy. we made lots eye contact after so i took my chance and approached her.

we said hi to each other and i asked her name. i didn't really know what to say so we just stood there in awkward silence for a few seconds.
this is where it got weird. i didn't know what to say i asked her if she didn't mind that im talking to her, to which she said no, and then i asked her if we could talk for 2 minutes. she said what i wanted to talk about. i froze up, said "never mind", and left.

she did seem comfortable so im not sure if she is actually creeped out or not. a day after a friend of hers asked her about it and she said that our convo was normal.

however, the next 2 days she started to behave weird. she completely ignored me, not even looking at me, so i didn't talk to her. however, the next 2-3 days she started to look at me again, but i didn't react to it. i can see from my peripheral vision that she'll look when im not looking. she'll also sometimes check over her shoulder to see if im still in the room.

does she know that i was nervous?
did i come on too strong or creepy?
was my lack of experience noticeable to her?

Always have a game plan before you approach a girl! It doesn't have to be anything wild, maybe compliment her shoes, outfit, or make a comment about the book she is reading. I have been the shy girl in this situation, and I didn't find it creepy, I found it flattering. You just need to be confident in yourself and realize that the world won't end if you get rejected. That's it... she isn't interested and you get rejected, just carry on with your day and all is good!

She definitely knew you were nervous, I don't think she thought you were creepy, and I am sure your lack of experience was clear to her. But that's ok! Some girls find that charming and sweet. She was probably unsure what your intentions were the next coupe of days so she was acting nervous, try again but this time just own it and have a game plan in your head.

Sounds desperate. Your opener sucks and you're putting her on a pedestal by asking 2 mins of her time like your time is not that valuable. Your attitude should be "I'm an awesome dude and i find her attractive. I will approach her and see if she's the right person for me. If she seems nice, then i will give her the gift of my time and she'll have a great c/o yours truly. if she has a horrible personality, then i move on to the next." Remember, women admire men for their strength. Looking nervous and weak puts you in a bad position. Always approach in a fun, playful and positive way.

Dont try to approach her again. Let her come to your circle. Example: If you meet her on the hallway, that's where you start the conversation.. just keep it light and fun. Dont think about how you messed up last time. And by the way you really need go work on yourself first, my man. This is important. Improve your physical, mental/emotional and financial status. Because even if you get her to date you, eventually she'll get turned off and ghost you because your weaknesses will eventually fuck things up cos don't seem to have your life together (you have low self-esteem, you have poor communication skills with women, you get nervous, etc.)

Above shows you do not see yourself as the prize. You are begging her to give you the time of day. If I approach a woman, she's lucky I'm giving her some of my precious time and value.

The other problem was that you were probably focused on the outcome. If you walked up to a friend to begin a conversation that wouldn't have happened.

I would think it's creepy if you intruded or tried to intrude her privacy or desperate if you were forcing her in some ways but I don't think that's that? Go with the flow, if you are right and she does look over to you I wouldn't think she's that creeped out...
