Guys, do you ever reject a girl because of bad timing?

And did this ever happen to you where you end up together later when the timing is better?

This is about me obviously, but I'm just curious as to what you guys think. I like him, but he and his girlfriend just broke up.

Yes I have done it and I still feel horrible because I actually liked her as well. We went to high school together, but we never got to know each other until the last 2 months of senior year. The week before we were going to graduate she spilled her heart out to me (via a text which means that she was extremely nervous which made me feel even worse when I said no). I was leaving for the entire summer the day after our graduation and when I would be coming back she would have already left for college which was in a different country. So we would have only had one week together and I was already really into her just like she was with me and it would have been so much more difficult for the both of us if we spend that one week together and fell for each other even more. This other time when I was really trying to get over this girl, I know I would have said no to any girl that was interested (there was one that I could have easily gotten, she never tolled me how she felt but you would have to be blind not to get the hints she dropped and yea I found her really fun and attractive. I know that I would go after her now if she was still around)

ya, rejecting because of bad timing is very possible for guys. But if the guy likes this girl, he will come back for her when the timing is right.

But, personally, I rarely see these couples to end up together later because girls tend to move on

It happens sometimes.

I was talking to the most amazing guy ever and it didn't work out due to bad timing. Maybe someday in the future we will end up together, but even though I am pretty bummed out all I can do is move on for now.

I think it's better to slog through bad timing than to risk missing out entirely. Life's too short.
