I'll say yes and no.

Girly to me means giddy and fun. Even a goth girl can be giddy bubbly and fun. The girlie behavior can never be too girlie to me, it's part of a girls rainbow of emotions

But clothing wise, it depends on the girl. Because it shows who she is. Maybe she can be girlie for a day but choosing the girlie look as a girl is a choice for who she interacts with and how she wants the world to see her. So goth, tomboy or girlie, it's up to the girl how she wants to show herself to the world and who she wants to attract

But I will say, not playing sports or getting dirty outside on account of not wanting to get clothes too dirty or being seen as too manly is being "too girlie" and being like an "airhead" because during the information age a girl should be independent and knowledgeable to some extent. I think even airheads in the information age are not naturally more knowledgeable than they were but a girl owes it to herself to be knowledgeable and not simply knowing fashion and tmz but how to live in the world.

Girlie is just that, like a girl. Not like a woman. 👀 Being in touch with your girlish side is important for having fun, just like a man's boyish side. But when you think of responsibility, being a parent or being a leader, do you think of boys and girls? I think of men and women. 👀 If she is too caught up in the razzle dazzle of girliness, then I'm going to have a hard time seeing her as the mother of our kids. Whether she wants that or not is up to her. For me, I like a healthy mix in someone I want to be with long term. 🤷‍♂️

No if it's in her nature. I hate how some parents nowadays try to kill a girl's feminine nature and are disappointed when their daughter is interested in barbie princess movies or dressing in pink and asking to pierce her ears unlike what they wished for. I am not sure why they see feminine nature as something negative that stops their daughters from progressing. It's all about how their daughter WANTS to be.

Depend on the definition of girly if it is being giddy and fun to an unreasonable extent and lack of self awareness and control then yes they can be way too girly for my liking.

Makes you wonder what problems they are compensating for or escaping from in real life by being that way.

Real girlie girls are attractive to date and hook up with on the short term. In the long term, I need a woman with a strong feminine personality to match my energy. At times yes, as my understanding of that term is typically getting more needy/attention seeking & immature. Sometimes I need my own space or to have someone be more interested in me for a time.

Yes. It is difficult to describe, but I would raise a step-daughter to be little bit tough. It would be OK for her to get dirty, not to have make-up. I would like her to be a balanced child.
