Guys, what do you do to get a girls attention if you are shy?

i go to the gym a few times a week, and nope don't wear anything revealing i wear pants baggy tshirt to lift.
i'm not sure if this is a new person or someone just trying to make himself noticed. i go early in the am, he parks near me now - no biggie, but he stares and watches me but doesn't say anything no smile, no wave. now he parks in front of me? hit his alarm 1,2,3 times. im taking for granted to get me to look or notice him, i am super shy not sure if i should just wave or what. being shy is rough so much self doubt, im only 4'10 and him about 5'1 but im thinking he maybe just as shy and well awkward, d'oh thank you for any thoughts, advice, outlook and no need to be rude -you were all young once, but damn! probably not this shy. again thank you!!!

I don’t. I pretty much expect her to do something. Especially after seeing compelling evidence that said women initiate the majority of romantic interacts by standing near the guy or being in his line of sight and other such subtle cues.


I know girls are looking all around and checking out all the men. So are men. We’re animals looking to fuck and make babies and everyone automatically does it. I already know a girl is going to look at me and assess me from afar. I feel like I just have to wait for her to display the subtle hints that girls do.


I probably wouldn’t ever talk to a girl at the gym though. I don’t know why it’s just too awkward. But in other situations If I’m feeling shy and me and her are in close proximity I’ll “accidentally” touch her. If she likes me too she does it back. Makes things much easier than talking lol. Touching is much better and I’m more comfortable with that personally.

Im 6'1 and not shy and i can't get a girls attention. I think you have his attention and you may just not know it. And he is more than likely shy himself. If this is a guy you wouldn't mind to get to know better. Your just going to have to buck it up and break the ice. It could be just a simply hi. Just something to strike up a conversation.

I will eventually try to give them nice smirk at least when making eye contact or greeting them so i send them good vibes that im open to them, because you gotta give them the signal somehow right. Without sending strong signal you can't really expect anything at all. All shy guys should know that.

If you and him already look at each other once than happens smile. Is a form of saying "Hi". And don't lose hope if he doesn't do anything the first time, chances are he will just smile back and walk away. Do it when you see each other and the opportunity to really say "Hi" will come.

When I was shy I used to get their social media (MySpace, facebook or something like that), and chat with them over the internet so I could lead up to telling them I liked them.

I don't do that anymore. It's too slow.

Next time, hi and what are you training today.

Then, we could train together.

Then (eventually, when you talk some more, not day3) ask for some help at home and kiss him there and start undressing him... Obviously you can start slow, but don't expect anything from his side...

In case you waiting him to do it, it will never happen. So just do something similar I wrote above or forget him and move on.

If I like a girl and I'm trying to get her attention. I keep close proximity to her but not very close and maybe stare or look at her when she's not looking 😏.

There is a lot of women who will approach you if you dress nice. You can just give them a double take lol or they might throw some signs like staring or following you

Smile, eye contact, say hi. Muster up the courage to approach and have a conversation. Sometimes it's difficult to approach girls.
