Why is my female friend mad at me for saying I missed another female friend?

She told me the reason why she would get quiet and mad at me in front of my other female friend is because she heard me thoughout the time say i missed her (other friend) but at that time i was with her most of the time. She carried this on her chest for 6 or 7 months and just now opening up about it.

Why would she be mad about me saying i missed another female friend and cause her to have doubt that i love and care for her?

It’s probably the way you expressed it to her. She probably took it as you throwing another woman in her face I n a disrespectful way such as saying you miss and love her as well.
