Are shit tests a hoax?

People basically say that all women shit test men. But of all the girls who have been into me or who I've been on a date with, most of them did not shit test me. I can think of two times where a girl I was on a date with might have done it to me, but I'm not sure if those times counted

They do happen to some guys, but not all. A shit-test is really just the girl trying to figure you out indirectly. It's really about lack of trust more than anything else. She doesn't feel like she can ask you about something directly and get an honest answer, so she tries to find out indirectly by asking you other questions or behaving in a way in which your response will reveal a lot about you.

Shit tests come in two forms:
1) Value shit-test: are you the kind of guy she should talk to or are you a loser? Are you really the confident, interesting, attractive guy you're trying to come across as or is it a front? She's trying to determined your value as a man.
2) Comfort shit-test: she already likes you, but she's not sure that she can trust you. Are your intentions good or bad? She's trying to determine whether or not you're a fuckboy/player.

Try to see it from a woman's point of view. You're on a date with a guy, you know he's probably after sex. You like him. How do you figure out whether he's just trying to lie his way into your pants? If you ask him directly and he is just trying to hit it and quit it, he's not going to tell you the truth is he? He's going to tell you what you want to hear. You have to figure out his intentions in other ways.

If she already likes you (she already sees value) and you already come across as the kind of guy she can trust because you're honest (she already feels comfortable) there's no need for her to shit test you. Either that or you won't notice them because you're not playing any games, you're just being real. That's probably why you're not seeing it.

Not sure if this is an accurate definition, but it's basically a test a girl gives a guy to see how he responds and how his emotional intelligence is. Like she'll just say something to try to get under his skin
