Why can't women give a straight answer?

It's always some confusing response that has you scratching the back of your head and has you thinking about it for a while. It's not that hard to just give a guy a straight answer. If he ask a girl out and her response is very vague and unclear, why is it so hard to just say yes or no? Leading a guy on is cruel and selfish. It's cowardly and honestly if a girl can't be honest or is too scared to be straight up, that's not a girl i want to be around or try to talk to
