My boyfriend says he's tired of my body?

everyday he feels the need to tell me I'm fat and that he finds it hard to find attractive things about me yet he loves me to pieces and doesn't wanna let me go and I feel the same back to him but how do I tell him that he's really hurt me and I love me the way I am without causing friction?

This is the first time I've felt insecure about myself and yes I am chubby but I love every inch of me I wouldn't wanna loose any of it.

But it's not just my weight it's my nose, my eyes etc etc I'm just flat out ugly to him. but he says I'm wonderful as a person.

"I'm just flat out ugly to him." - This doesn't make sense to me. If there was no attraction then how did you two start dating? Even if you both drank each other pretty, there would still need to be some physical attraction for it to become physical.

Is he just emotionally abusive for the sake of feeling powerful? My ex used to put me down regularly to feel better about himself. And finally I started to realize that if I was as ugly as he seemed to think, then I shouldn't be getting hit on by guys everyday. And I stopped putting up with his bullsh*t.

If he calls you ugly, say I like my body, and if you can't except that, go find somebody else, because I don't need someone I love so much telling me they don't like my body. That's what I would say. You need a boy who will love you no matter what shape or size you are. And if he is like this to you he isn't worth it. Like seriously.

If a guy truly "loved you" - he wouldn't have a reason to say hurtful sh*t in that way. He might encourage you to go to the gym, or he'll compliment you more when you put on something he finds flattering vs. clothing which don't emphasize your features as much.. but NEVER would a man who allegedly "loves you" - I repeat, NEVER - would he say sh*t like that.
