Should mixed fights that allow groin strikes be allowed?

Question

Woman often have their own separate division but I think with some rules tweaking, like legal groin strikes there could be an even match between guys v girls. What do you think?

It would still be unfair and frankly dangerous for women. Yes it's a vulnerable spot. No it doesn't make men weaker than women in a fight.

The original ufc fights had no prohibition on groin shots. Plenty of martial arts were designed for combat not sport. None of them entirely dedicated themselves to trying to hit the opponent in the balls.

That's my point. You said that it wouldn't be an even match to the original question because a punch in the balls would finish him, but now you're saying that a guy could punch her first in the head and win. So apparently it would be an even fight after all.

I don't see why either is a cheap shot anyway. Testicles are a part of the male body just like a head.

In a fight with no rules, then anything goes, though the original question was about some kind of competition that would presumably have some rules. I don't think hair pulling for either gender would be allowed. Sorry if it sounds like I'm being rude. I'm just surprised at your answer about groin strikes tipping the advantage to girls by so much.

Was replying to the other person, but if that rule didn't exist it would change very little since in order to kick/hit there you have to put yourself at risk of getting knocked out

Of course not. Yes, men have this weak spot, but they're still way stronger.

I don't know, guys get a 5 minute break in MMA fights if they take one to the cup. And most guys who've answered have said it would be unfair. To me that signifies that guys are sort of scared to fight women with those rules because they would lose a lot
