So I am a female and I had beef with a girl because she tried to ruin my relationship as in she was making up things to ruin the relationship. She blocked me after it so I could not text her so I went on instagram and texted her two closest friends and told them how mean she was to me and how dangerous she was and to be careful. Just a warning. Her friends obviously ran to her and told her and sent her the screenshots of me telling them that she she was mean and dangerous and she put up two videos on her instagram profile explaining what happened to her and captioned it "help". And then she went on her instagram live and start telling people again what happened to her and what I said to her on her instagram live. I was texting her to talk about it but she wouldn't respond she just kept going onto live and telling everyone what happened. I never even said anything personal. Do you think this was a bit much on her part?

Yes. this definitely sounds like it was a bit much on her part. It actually made me laugh; because it's over-the top. I'm sure it wasn't/isn't funny to you. But... it will be with a bit of time.

So, now... she must have spun things into SOME sort of fake narrative. Otherwise she couldn't even pretend that you did anything "wrong". So what was she trying to say happened?

First, when you have a beef with someone, never ever involve anyone else, mainly not friends of the person you are having problems with.

You saw what happened the second you told her friends about the situation. They immediately told her and the reaction was to be expected.

That is one of the reasons I am totally against social media because rather than to help, social media makes things worse. Always.

Since the girl you had a beef with felt cornered and attacked, she felt she had to defend herself and now, rather than the issue being just between you and her, the entire planet knows about it.

It is obviously not correct to involve the planet in your personal issue but you should have been clever enough never to involve social media but rather to have a face to face conversation with her to try to solve the problem without a third party intervention.
