Unfortunately that's probably the single worst dating strategy for a man.

Men who are looking for a relationship often try to be friends with women they are attracted to because they want a girlfriend who is also their best friend. They are concerned about her feelings and won't approach or initiate sex because they listened to women complaining about mens behavior and do do the opposite, not understanding that women only complain about the men they are attracted to and ignore the rest. So the very behavior they say they hate, us the behavior that made them date these men and ignore the guy who actually wants a relationship and respected her boundaries.

Players looking for a hookup , pump and dump, don't play this loosing strategy, they boldly approach and don't care if the women doesn't like it or feels harassed by there approach, they don't respect her boundaries and thus are successful. They aren't emotionally invested , it's a lot easier to approach a women you don't care about. They aren't risking rejection because they simply don't have any respect for women.

The thing is you have to tell her "Im interested in dating you" and not "I like you" cuz then she will be turned off because you are in love so fast.
