So, the girl I like and been talking with agreed to go out for a drink month ago but she was busy in the mean time with studying and we never went on that date. She never mentioned it. And now she wants me to spend more time with her and her girl friends at Uni. So, do girls like to be first friends with guys and then possibly go on a date and start dating or this might be hard core friendzone? Her last boyfriend was a friend from school, so it's possible that she prefers that way. I honestly don't know what to think... Every opinion is much appreciated!

I dare based on emotional connection and not pure attraction so I would prefer to be friends before we date but it would be a different kind of friendship if we are together.

A lot of married people that I see on tv said their husband or wife is their best friend, but the difference is this friendship is an exclusionary friendship that is not shared or copied in your other relationships and it is based on non spiritual principles such as your intelligence or physical appearance. A real friendship is based only on your personality, not your job or BMI or your appearance or your intelligence.
