I feel heartbroken and insecure from other girls especially my sister what should I do?

I am not in the best of moods to start with hey.. I am the type that has been hurt a lot in the past to a point that no one wants me. They all see my sister as something special they see her as pretty an throw compliments at her like she can dance etc. I get called clapped and ugly I’m at a point where this is just not jealousy and insecurity anymore... my sister can get a guy to compliment her just like that and I can’t... she’s married to and at 25 as well...


I just hate my life and I wish I could end it so I can live in peace forgetting this ever existed

I've been compared to other women in my family (including my stepsister and cousin), as well as friends (and I was always considered "the ugly one" as well), and I know the harsh comments can be a real blow to your confidence and hurt.

For what it's worth, if guys are being such assholes that they are insulting you for no reason, consider it a good thing that you dodged those bullets. They deserve no one at all, and I would pity any girl they fooled into giving them a chance.

It's also worth noting that some guys (especially if these are the same ones insulting you) only throw out compliments like that trying to get into a girl's pants. I'm not saying that's 100% the case, but it's a real possibility.

Try not to worry about anyone being married by a certain age. I tend to think that a healthy marriage consisting of true love is what is most important, whether that is achieved at age 25 or 55, or at any age. The age someone gets married at means nothing.

I know this really hurts, but just try to be the best version of yourself you can be and one of these days you will learn to love yourself regardless of what anyone else thinks, and I'm sure you will find someone who truly loves you for you.

Ooof... yeah I feel this one. It is something I still struggle with myself. I think trying to look at it like you need to live your own life and not through hers. I know that validation is addicting and you want to experience it in the same way she does, but why? Why not experience it in the way that is your own?

Just remember that every single one of us have insecurities of some sort, but that doesn't make any of less special and this goes for you too. Don't believe that inner voice saying something to the contrary.
