  Or 3900€ / 48.000 before taxes if you only count those working full time jobs.
  
  So the 35.000 per year would be on the upper end of the avarage income.

  Everyone pays a federal income tax (or is supposed to pay), and most states have their own income tax- although Florida, where I live, does not. This makes Florida a great place to retire on a pension. I'm following you now, so you can DM questions, if you wish.

Depends on what they're spending it on. If they were spending it on rent, utilities, food, and so on, I'd feel bad for them. if they were buying video games, I'd feel fine.
