Trending & News All the women i have ever had in my life expected me to make more money than them. And some are BSN Nurses SO you know how much they make. It's a lie if they tell you otherwise..."they can't really be proud of you"-Unless you are an expert in a poor man field-like Art.
My fam thinks the guy should be the breadwinner but thats dumb because they usually date broke dudes. As long as he can pay his share of the bills and afford his own food/shelter/clothing then we’re good. But it would be smart if he starts saving like i do so that we can help eachother in starting a family
so long as its a full-time job ('pulling his weight') they wouldn't really care. A job is a job at the end of the day, and even respectable positions like teachers or nurses can get payed very little compared to other positions that may not need a degree or qualification

I make quite a bit more than my husband does. I couldn’t care less, but I suspect it irks him slightly. I married him because I loved him, not because I needed him to take care of me.
@Rab1901 My parents liked him but even if that had been an issue, I was already in my 40s when he and I got together, so not really a concern.
As far as bills, essentially, he takes care of car maintenance, cable, and partly vacations. I cover housing expenses, food, things like clothes and tuition for our kids, and also party vacations. And of course, my children from my first marriage, if something should arise, are my responsibility.
