Woooow. I haven't heard this in decades.
Is that what his voice always sounded like? I don't recognize it. But I do remember some of the words.

I remember "Do one thing, every day, that scares you.
    Sing.
Don't be reckless, or with other peoples' hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. The race is long. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind.
    Keep your old love letters.
    Stretch.
    Floss..."

Yeah, there's a lot of good stuff here! It was too much to write, actually.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this speech!!! I heard about it for the first time when I was 17 during a class and I never forgot it. It's BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏
Some parts make me smile while others make me cry. So yes, it's one of the best advice for life that someone can get.

      What do you mean?

I agree with you, I guess it's one of those things that it's easier said than done.

Yes! Sunscreen is so important for health. I notice that you are asking specifically for girls, but everyone should wear sunscreen. It can save you from a whole bunch of long term and short term health problems. While it is possible to avoid the problem by staying indoors, that is not good for mental or physical health (unless you have another conflicting health condition)

You asked me to answer it... if I was doing it on my own I would. I would probably do more in-depth research. But you requested that I answer it so I figured you already had one.

    Pretty much on point.

A million years ago when there was ONLY 15 sunscreen, a dermatologist who always wore bow ties said EVERYONE should wear sunscreen. Even people who are 100 percent black. Sun damage is cumulative and though very dark people get SOME protection, the Sun, as wonderful as it is, is a bitch!

Keep latering that stuff on... Don't forget the tops of your feet when you wear sandals and flipflops...

Actually black people are more prone to melanoma than whites, strange as that might seem.

@JuliaStyles My dad had a giant one on his face. But his old bald ass NEVER WORE HATS, despite the fact that we bought him dozens of them to mow the lawn and work on the roof or gutters or building some part of the house... All those years of exposure... Cumulative is the issue...

True! Bad sunburns you get in your teens can bring melanoma/skin cancer 20 years later.
