Why do women most of the time never compliment men?

Women will compliment ugly women all the time and even though the women know that they are ugly they will still give them a compliment. Why do women not have the same energy for men?

I guess it’s just people take it the wrong way sometimes.

Like if I say “wow, you’re pretty funny” or something like that, some people tend to see it as more than just platonic, ya know? Or like being a stuck up - especially when girls say it to dudes.

I have to be careful depending on which man I give the compliment to. Sometimes they think you're flirting or interested.
