Why are some women so uptight about exposed breasts and/or nursing mothers?

I want to hear, FROM A WOMAN/GIRL WHO DOES NOT LIKE EXPOSED BREASTS OR EXPOSED NURSING, why you get upset about a woman either having her breasts exposed or openly nursing her child.

I don’t really care but I would personally not be comfortable to expose my body like that and would cover myself. Even if I am publicly feeding I would cover with proper nursing clothes. I don’t understand people who do expose to the whole world but I don’t care that they do either. It doesn’t affect me. There are a lot worse things to worry about if someone had to worry about unnecessary things.

Oh well I'm sorry I can't answer. Though I am curious to hear what other will say.
I personally don't give a darn what a persons says I'm breastfed my babes and if I had a babe now I would breastfeed them wherever I was. Restaurant doctor's office in the car at a store in a park at church If my babe has to eat my babe is going to eat!

A lot does seem to come down to culture and also the role of men in that culture.

Breasts are not a sexual thing, it’s the social context that makes them sexual.

I feel a public place is not for breast feeding. Why can’t they just pump the milk before going out. in my opinion no private parts should be exposed in public regardless of the situation. Im sure parents don’t want their kids looking at that. I’m an adult and I don’t want to see it.

You do realize most breastfed babies will not take a bottle of pumped milk? It can also cause nipple confusion and a lot of other issues. It's best for the mom to feed the baby how she normally would at home.

Let’s normalize mating/ sex (human nature) in public as well since you think breast feeding shouldn’t be done in private.

There isn't anything sexual about breastfeeding so it's totally different then actually having sex in public

I don’t care if a mother feeds her baby in public but use a cover over them not because I’m uncomfortable but because there’s a bunch of weirdos out there!
As for Just breasts out in the open, I don’t get angry or uptight but I do find it distasteful. Often there’s kids out in public but in general I really really don’t want to be someone’s boobs.

These type of people that hate on breastfeeding probably just over sexualize boobs and don't know that the main purpose of having boobs is for breastfeeding.

i have mixed feelings, i dont personally care for it but i wouldn't exactly want children or pervy teens to be around. the energy of the entire room would just make me feel awkward

I don't get angry but I do just go oh and look the other way, when ever I nurses I used a small cloth to cover over the head
