Bestfriend keeps referencing my “ethnic features”?

She keeps randomly telling me I have “ethnic features” that only certain guys will like. Like guys who only “like ethnic looking girls.” She said my boyfriend or any guy who likes me probably “has a fetish for ethnic girls.” She’s white and I’m mixed race. She’ll be like “you’ve got such ethnic features” out of the blue. Or she can’t talk about my looks without calling me “ethnic.” She’s like “you’re pretty but ethnic.” Is that a bit weird? Why is she always commenting on by ethnicity? Is she being a bit shady?

Thing is, she’s obsessed with music from other countries and their culture. So I wouldn’t think she’s being racist if not for her comments on my race ☹️

@asker you should say something. What she is saying is not okay. I had a friend like this before. She would get upset when guys would hit on me in front of her. Some friends are just jealous friends, but she should not be saying things to make you dislike your appearance or who you are. That is not a nice friend
