Why am I getting bullied all of a sudden?

I’m in my grade 12 senior year of high school. I was never bullied or at least too badly for my whole entire school career, but it seems that this specific year out of no where I’m getting bullied quite badly. This group of girls in my social studies class constantly talk trash about me right there in front of me, and it truly just makes me feel uncomfortable and upset with myself. On Instagram they posted this meme about me earlier, literally just bullying me for getting acrylic nails? I don’t understand I just always get my nails done because it’s something I like. I don’t understand why this is a daily occurrence. I’d tell a teacher or my principal, but that’ll probably only make the drama worse, and I’m graduating this year it’s not like I’m 14 and need to snitch on everything.

In my experience when growing up, telling a teacher didn't help, but what did help was when I fought people and beat them down whenever they said anything I didn't like. That solved my problems real quick and prevented future problems too after I beat enough people.

I didn't have social media and stuff like that when I was growing up though. People actually had to say something in person, not online hiding behind a screen. Plus there were no smart phones with cameras to record it if I fought someone.

If I was growing up today maybe I'd just get up in class next time and cuss them out in front of everybody. Record it so I could show people that they didn't do anything when I confronted them because they are smack talking cowards.

You should tell on them. If not to protect yourself to help them as they are developing bad habits socially and if they are doing this to you it’s likely they are doing it to others and some of those others may not be as put together as you or may not be able to handle it as well as you can. You would be protecting others by getting adults involved. Just my opinion

I know that girls, especially in teenage years, can be awful toxic to each other. They can be verbally and psychologically much worse to each other than guys and the triggers for these bullying incidents are mostly as trivial and ordinary as it can be (like jealousy about clothes/appearance/boyfriends/richness, gossiping etc.)

They see something in you that you don't even see in yourself. They are jealous and bulling in an attempt to hold you back. They see you as a threat and are trying too through you of track and take away your confidence. Maybe you are prettier than they are and they know it. May you are smarter than they are and they know it.

Sounds like one or more are jealous of something, or I secure about themselves. Generally where that comes from trying to make themselves feel better. The rest are probably just trying to follow.
