Girls, Why would a waitress light up when she sees me but is just bland and normal with my mate?

This waitress was all like hey how are you and her voice tone went high pitched. But with my mate she was talking to him like any other random person.

I go there for my coffee every day. But she is not there everyday. She might be there about twice a week

I just don't want to come off as a creepy customer. Cause I don't actually know her. But for some she seems to light up when she sees me. Like I accidentally kicked something in the cafe one day and I turned around to catch it. She instantly giggled the moment it happened. So I could tell she was looking at me. Due to her timing and when it happened
