Okay… Sometimes it is genuine. But when it’s a guy who doesn’t get a lot of female attention and it’s so obvious it’s cringe the waitress, hair stylist, etc is not being genuine. They’re trying to get more tip money…. Why do these dudes fall for it so hard?
The same reason why guys give money to pole dancers while receiving lap dances. Caught up in the moment, they aren't thinking about it being real or fake affection. They are just happy to receive it & to have the feeling of it (fabricated or not). One may be flesh, the other flirts -- both without real feelings for actually liking the guy, but it feels real enough to them & they'll gladly take it. Especially if they don't receive it often enough. It activates the "It's my lucky day!" part of some guys' brains.
It's probably guys, like you said.. who are not used to much female attention and flirting
It's pretty obvious that it's just their job to act nice to you.. and they try to be extra nicer for tips
It's your imagination. Now think objectively why she just can't give you her number on the bill or doesn't start a private talk about your and her relationship status.
Most men are so gullible. You would be surprised what a man will do for you with a few choice words.

I believe it's very similar to when a gambler is about to give up on a game and then the slot machine just barely misses a big hit, so they keep going.
In the heat of the moment, a sexually unsatisfied man is liable to throw logic out the window. Especially when they feel like they are close to getting what they want.
It depends on the level. I always assume a woman is after a good tip. But to be fair, I distrust most women in general.😆 But I think most women who do that type of work have separation about what they're willing to do for a good tip. But there are those that get physical touchy-touch. I can understand why some guys Mike get misled by that. Because that is a woman with absolutely no boundaries.
A lot of men misinterpret when a woman is nice to them and immediately think she's interested in them.
Why do guys think women in general being flirty is genuine?
Or in a country outside US where tips are almost not a thing, it's definitely obvious that it's just service with a smile. That is, top customer service.
Because if she WAS and you don't make a move, you'll spend the rest of your single life wondering, "what if"?

Because I'm a genuine person. They do this for tips? It makes me uncomfortable and I usually don't tip someone who was flirting with me.
