long story short, this girl from my workplace keeps making eye contact whenever I walk past her office, and I'm not sure if she's just curious about me or interested in me

Now That I have worked for quite some time , she starts to open up to me , like saying hello whenever I walk around her office and she always wave Hello When I have to move around the HQ, is she just being friendly or am i too dense to pick up the hints?

Contrary to popular belief, no. I would advise you to keep it professional if you don't want a visit to the HR. The problem with being "friends" with a woman, is that as a man you will sometimes inevitably have thoughts of sleeping with them, and that's completely natural. That's why you want to keep yourself at a distance and just be professional instead of forming a more personal relationship. Only time you should form a personal bond with a woman is a) if you are dating or b) if you don't find her attractive, so that way you can be friends without having to worry about things going further. If you like a girl, just ask her out. If you think she's attractive, but you are friends with her, you're basically in the friendzone and hoping she upgrades your spot to a mate, which is just not how this works. However, once again I wouldn't advice you ask your co-worker on a date, just because things can get awkward in the work environment if things go sideways, unless you quit your job that is. If she keeps looking at you, smile and wave, then move on with your day. No big deal. You probably need the job afterall.

Yes you can be friends. Yes you can be interested. If anything goes south she can just make a claim against you and you're out of a job. Just understand that and make your call

I've personally lost a job over a woman lying. She as a married woman in my department came onto me. I didn't entertain it. Her ego got hurt. She tried to say let's be friends and treat her like one of the guys. So I did.

She used that to make a sexual harassment claim against me. Other people who knew her longer warned me about her but I didn't listen because I thought they were over reacting.

They were right. Upside is I can still technically sue her

Just make sure that you keep it decent and platonic and don't start flirting with co-workers. One never does flirt with other employees as this automatically creates tension within the workplace, mainly if you are the newbie in the company.

You don't want to cause problems with other co-workers. Keep your fingers off of her and just be a friend to her and nothing more.

Making eye contact with a new employee does not have to mean that there is automatically chemistry but it does usually mean that she is trying to assess you and place you in a context.

Could be either actually. She could just be curious about you, or she could like you and She’s trying to make eye contact. Just see what happens as time goes on I guess, smile at her when she looks at you

can be friend but just kept friendly. dating at work is not a good ideal since come with a lot of drama. I only dated and been in a relationship in college and will reufuse to date people from works for reason. that I don't have to all the time

Yes try to get to know her. She’s probably too shy to really talk to you. Thats how I felt about my crush I used to work with :( It won’t hurt to try and make conversation
