Hey guys so 4 years ago in high school I used to be super shy towards girls and there was this girl who was like good looking and popular but was kind with me. she once defused an awkward situation when I got stuck in a social planning event in a group which majoritily consisted girls by joaking teasing me and calming me down.
case is next year I got more serious and focused in life and academics, started exercising , reading self help, developing myself and this girl started acting more friendly with me. There were times that she complimented and teased me various times, acting shy, childish maybe even more than any other guy in high school. When I fell down, hurt my face and had to take stiches on my lips, this girl was there asking all about it after I was absent for some days despite belonging having a complete different group of friends. The case is the next year the girl saw me looking at her sometimes and ignored me, but teased, complimented me other times. She used to call me bro then tease me. Then started ignoreing me but when she saw any other girl or her friends talking to me it affected her in a way that she too would come and start talking to me after that, or interrupt. Then again after a year this girl changed her behavior like acting all childish and caring and happy in front of me while talking, to completely ignoring me. This year I started talking to her over social media and this girk was very enthusiastic in her replies first. complimented me answered and asked questions, Then slowed her replies to he's first then 1-2 days. After some time I issued her a challenge she agreed to it enthusiastically , but still failed to be present for it. I teased her about it and she tried that challenge and failed then said hey compete after 2 weeks as she had exams but then disappered, didn't reply until 3 weeks later which I answered after 2 hrs and this girl disappered for the next 3 months. Any idea if I am misunderstanding all this situation.
