Random girls always compliment my friend but not me?

Whenever me and my friend go out together, she gets random other girls coming up to her and being like “you’re the prettiest girl I’ve seen tonight” or “wow you’re stunning.” The other night, a random girl just went up to my friend and said “you’re literally the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen”, and then she looked at me standing right beside her and said “you’re pretty too!” I always feel overlooked. Why don’t I ever get that but my friend does? I consider us both pretty.

Babe that has happened to me and it really does suck when it happens often lol I use to go to raves w/ friends I use to be close w/ and one of my friends would alwayssss get the compliments (she was avg looking, had no boobs or butt, wore glasses) but she went all out w/ doing her hair, makeup, wearing accessories. Etc. I feel like that made her stand out more so girls prob just felt more drawn to her because of her feminine vibe.

Maybe you both dress well and carry yourself well, but maybe check the quality of your hair and skin. That might make a difference. Also colors. Do a color analysis to find out what colors suit you for clothes and make up.
