Girl's Behavior

If a shy guy gets a letter from a girl letting him how she feels, how will he react?

I really do like him and I feel that he likes me too but he hasn't replied and its almost a month now so now I feel that he doesn't so I just wanted to know what I should do cause the last thing I want is to lose the friendship ,i just followed my heart and wrote that letter cause all I wanted was for him to know how I felt...now I feel it was maybe a mistake and I'm not good any getting signs from a guy and its the first time I really do like someone :/ we have become quite good friends and that's y I thought I should just let him know.

he has never avoided me and has always responded to my messages and texts or maybe he was being a good friend and I have always felt he likes me ...n yea I posted it and he's really very shy but I won't be seeing him for another 2 months and he's always with his guy friends never have I seen him hanging out with a girl but wen I asked he did go places with me and we even had a game played together and that went great he told me his embarrassing stuffs and his home and a little about his family too so in the end I thought I should definitely give the letter ha ha and now I think I took the life out of him lol

n in the beginning of the year when we barely knew each other my frnd told his frnd that I liked him and all so after that all these thngs happened so I guess if he wanted and didn't like me he cud hve avoided me but I really don't know wats up lol
