How does a shy guy act when a girl says hi?

does he think I'm weird if I say hi to him?i always see he is always with his friends..there is no girl .. :( I really like him but he is older than me, and I've never talked him.(he is grade 11?12?i don't know.. and I am in grade 10..)

i think he is shy, and also I am shy but I always try to say hi to him because doing something is better than doing nothing.. but I'm scared ..lol

No, he'll be excited that you said hi to him. If he has trouble doing so himself, then you making contact with him is exciting whether a guy is shy or not. It might also help to make him more comfortable around you if he sees that it's OK to talk to you, since you are talking to him.

if a girl says hi to me and smiles then I just say hi back and smile but that's just about it ... unless she starts a conversation with me then ill talk to her too
