Why do many girls have their defenses up in the nightclubs? How does a guy approach a girl at a nightclub to make her feel more at ease?

I know some girls aren't like this, but a lot definitely are. Guys can vouch for me. Girls do not respond the same way as they do in the daytime. Some thing that can make her feel amazing in the daytime won't work the same way at night.

Are girls afraid cuz crazy shit happens at night?
Are girls more entitled because they took a lot of time to look hot?
Are guys less attractive during the night because of there isn't good lighting?
Do girls think all the guys are just looking for sex?
Are the girls looking for sex but the guys don't know how to make things sexual?

Lol so girls are batshit crazy at night like a vampire 🤣 Meeting anyone at a club is usually not a good thing to expect. Girls enjoy the validation that guys even approach but we likely won't go home with you at the end of the night. you're wasting your time with nightclubs. If you're gonna flirt at night, do it at a restaurant, movie theater or mall

-Eye contact only.. gently smile... calm energy.
-I'm your name and extend your right hand... emit calm energy.
-have a joke related to music and animals on hand. For example, what did the caged bird, say to the cat... go ahead, "make your move (Anton Power)." I'm pretty sure she will figure it out and feel a twinge or two. And then, are you a joke person? I'm not giving you my personal 3 guaranteed up on her tip toes watching my mouth move... finally a guy that can make me laugh-Kiss time!

It's not an issue for me. It's the truth. Not a single man I know disagrees. We have our ways to break their defenses but we wanna know why girls are like this in the first place and if there are better ways to break the barrier

Not sure who you know then. I guess men who don’t have this problem aren’t probably in forums where you can chat to about it. Or in real life those men don’t want to be connected to you so you also can’t chat to them. But this definitely isn’t an issue for every male. If you can’t see that then yes you can’t be helped.
