Society placed an importance on womens appearance and when you look good or have a nice body you get positive attention and even opportunities. Posting the pictures give the women a sense of false self worth because they get a lot of attention from both men and women. It’s also nice to feel desired by men. Women will keep doing it until society stops focusing such importance on appearance.
I’ve actually see it end a marriage. The wife decided that she wanted to be an insta model and would post provocative photos of herself on Instagram and would get a lot of thirsty comments from other men. Her husband didn’t like it at all but she kept doing it. They eventually got divorced.
The real question here is why aren't men healed to the same standard. A woman is objectified, by other women as well as men for posting a photo in a bathing suite but no one would blink an eye if a man did the same thing...… If a man takes his shirt off at the gym no one blinks an eye but if a woman does the same thing she is asking for it... a person isn't a object that you give to someone. You give someone your love, trust, respect and intimacy... you don't "give" someone your body unless you are donating a body part.
You’re right it’s about how women are seen as sexual objects, over sexualized to the point that they are shamed and called names for bearing body parts that aren’t even sexual organs.
Because they like the idea of the attention, until they find out the type of attention they get, and the type of guys it comes from, then they don't like that attention. These girls want it both ways, put themselves out there thinking that a handsome nice guy will cone and whisk them away,. When what they actually get are pervs and players. No truly nice guy is going to go after a girl that cheapens herself like that. I guess it's a lesson they'll have to learn the hard way.
And that's why I posted this.. not to try to shame anyone, to try to tell these women, there's other/better ways to get better attention, but you're right, they'll have to learn the hard way
In my humble opinion, I think it’s either they want/like the attention and validation, which, posting photos like that, they’ll get plenty. Or though it is less common, They simply are indeed proud of their body. Which, that’s great, but They’re are better ways of showing that pride than posting half-naked photos of your…delicates. Anyway, it’s a free country. People will do what they want. I just wish people realized that once you post something online, it NEVER goes away.
Competition. Why do SOME guys lie and tell women exactly what they want to hear? Because they know they're in competition with other guys and they know lying will give them a distinct advantage. So why do women do it? 1. Because they are competing for the attention of guys. And, 2. Because they don't distinguish between what is "good attention" and what is "bad attention". If you want to know how guys feel about it? Watch this humorous video by Dave Chapelle that explains it ( warning* bad language)
Because they not getting attention from their partner or they think it the only way for attention. Some use it as a form of validation for their low self esteem. Not healthy or safe. Also it not just women men do this too with their genial stuff. Because they lack confidence or they need there ego boosted. really it’s all self work and loving yourself. If you don’t love yourself your always looking for validation else where outside yourself.
I mean if I had a perfect body like some of these women I would totally wanna show it off especially if I earned it though hard work. If I was flat and I put in all my effort into looking like a model with a nice ass, why wouldn’t I wanna show it off? It’s a flex. If you’re talking about like onlyfans half porn or showing really really scandalous photos then that’s a different story.
Why do people just mention only fans, there's women putting half naked pics on here under every topic, even though there's users as young as 13 on this site... And you can show your figure without being naked/half naked
Well if you’re talking about this app specifically, well yeah that’s attention seeking 100% I mean they crave attention from strangers, especially if it’s a random topic. The internet in general, like social media, it really depends. There’s difference between and innocent bikini pic and a thirst trap figure photo with their tits hanging out that is actually sexually suggestive. But yeah I agree it’s odd to post photos that are very revealing on places where children are on. That being said, this app is tainted with things that children should never see, I don’t think it’s suitable for them to be on this site.
Truth be told, everything just flowed in this direction.
Just look at the internet now, we get insecure Instagram models that feed insecure men and then those insecure men feed the Instagram models by praise 👏 and money 💰 witch in turn makes it easy for these Instagram models to convince there insecure female friends to give it a try and then the cicle repeats.
We as a society created this vicious circle by obsessing over money, fame and looks and now we are surprised with these results😒
Because they want sexual attention, they want to feel sexually desirable by hoards of men.
It's that easy.
Not much different for men as well, well, those that do that. Don't get mistaken, it's way less but it's not because most men don't want the same, it's because they are heavily discourage from doing it.
That's another point though, why is it okay for women to post half naked/naked pics and it's okay, but if a man plastered the internet with his dick pics, he'd be labeled a perv or creep, and most times by the same women baring their titties and ass
Because a man can only do that if he has a 9" dick and the body of a model. Thats a rarity. Men are less picky... I mean, men are more appreciative of the female figure. It doesn't have to be perfect.
More or less, you are right, it's a bit more complicated, he doesn't even have to post his dick, just pecs and ass.
Here's why it's ok: Women have way less self-control than men, so unless men are poorly dress for heat sake (no erections, women can't handle those) while doing valuable work or having no other option... Well, you know.
Which is why the suit is a standard for man, it's only a standard of modesty, it's basically a fucking burka with an added hangman's knot.
But that's understandable. I want you to understand a world where men do it like women, plaster their faces every day like they are justin bieber or some K-pop star. All those hands in the chest and biceps take a way more drastic form.
There's whole movements of women who can't take no from men, like the fat-acceptance movement. And at the same time, they can't take being fetishized, IE, the fact that men have to want them do fuck them.
It's the rapiest shit ever. Completely socially acceptable.
Okay, I'm not moving anyone, but trying to show women they don't have to sexualize themselves to get attention... And to do so on a site like this that has young users, what message are you sending to those young impressionable girls?
I'm explaining why they are bothered. If this makes them happy let them be happy. Children have far more things to worry about than a woman in a bikini.
The thing is if men didn't give the attention to women they wouldn't do it.
This is what makes them happy or how they earn their money.
As for children.
Parents have the right to tell there children not to use these sites if they really believe this could impact their children in anyway.
Just like tv, nobody forces people to use these sites.
Thinking about it now, It is beneficial for men and women to post semi-nudes because it makes it easier for men and women to identify what type of person they are and either avoid them or not.
The women and men who do it and attract the type of men they don't want, do themselves a disservice, especially I feel sorry for those who don't understand the psychology. But that's not my problem.
Different reasons. Some want attention and some just genuinely are confident enough in themselves and their bodies. I'm not in the business of judging or shaming people for what they do. Women are already shamed enough for every fuckin thing else.
And no need for any of the people who feel the need to attack others that don't agree with OP to come to her rescue. Thanks!
Who's trying to shame? More trying to let women know they don't need to get naked to be sexy or attractive... But funny, it's those females insulting me, even though I didn't put out insults... But come on now, of it was a man posting dick pics on the internet, those same women would be calling those men creeps and pervs... And is that what we want to teach young girls? The only way to feel good about your body is to show it naked for any Tom, Dick, or Harry on the internet🤷🏼♀️ And I really don't need anyone to come to my defense, not did I ask anyone to
Didn't say you asked. Doesn't stop them from coming tho. And you aren't telling them to back off either 🤷🏾♀️. And society's beauty standards aren't healthy for young girls either but not too many speak about that in the same way. It is what it is.
You do know I work 10 hours right, and then 45 min drive home, so wasn't even on here to see, and you have an issue because someone came to my defense? Yet it's okay the women saying I'm just jealous, or it's cuz I'm old and ugly... Yet I'm the one trying to insult or shame, yeah sure okay
I read one comment where someone jumped on the person because they didn't share your views. Lol im pretty sure I work too and ain't just sitting on here reading through all your comments. I have an issue because this person always does this to people that don't agree with you. Nothing wrong with coming to someone's defense but there are better ways of doing it. I didn't see anyone insult you. I'm talking about the question you asked and what you said. But like I said, it is what it is.
I don't like showing my body on the internet. Girls mostly do it for attention and to build a platform so they can be "well known" for their bomb body. They do it for multiple reasons, mostly cause it's going to get them a hot rich man.
Yeah lol totally agree. A hot rich man usually ends up with a grown woman who has her life together, if he isn't stupid. Normally hot and rich man is not stupid.
I am not hot and rich too!🤣 But then also, I would not prefer such a girl because her view on life will be a very superficial bubble. If that bubble bursts then she will be a wreak. Nothing more. As in her prime time she will have only focused on the temporary assets she wants to make career out of.
As a person, I am nearly always able to tell a woman who took a photo just for the sake of it, because she wanted to just enjoy a bit and a woman who took a photo to outrageously show her body. There is also a very fine line between that, but after seeing many photos, you know it.
Its all about affirmation , for the fatties , the right to be Fat , for the stunners , " look at this " , but they all want the same thing affirmation of their body , not happy with a few " ticks " , all these women want to go viral.. Sad really , but its everyday occurrence , and I will say some of them are doing this stuff far too young and need to be monitored by their parents.
Because everyone wants what the Kardashians have. Tons of money for doing absolutely nothing other than posing in skimpy clothes.
Each woman thinks she'll post a pic and some rich guy will fall for her and fly her over and shower her with money. Problem is some guys do, which only encourages the masses to keep trying.
That's the point. Women are letting themselves be taken advantage of? How does that really make them feel sexy, shouldn't that make them feel more low to be taken advantage of instead of really finding the love they seek
My question is, why do you care? Does it affect you? I, myself see nothing wrong with it, as long as they aren't doing it on an app that's designed for children, and promote they do it as well. Some women have poor body image and confidence, so they want to get validation, which isn't the best way, but if they're grown adults, they can do it. Others just want to show off their bikinis, or just their bodies because they like it how it looks like. Not everyone wants to "save themselves for the one".
Everyone is different, and we should stop picking on other people for doing certain things, unless it's harmful.
But that's just my opinion, feel free to reply and we can discuss a bit more about our opposite opinions. Have a great day:)
Because it's how to get attention from men. But seeing as i just saw someone drop an ass pic and ask if she's worth $400 for dinner, it's starting to look shallow and just a desperate attempt.
A lot of people are comfortable with the human body and don't see nudity as anything bad. Do you think the same about people who do nude modeling for art students? Just because you're comfortable showing your body, doesn't mean you're off having sex with everyone.
There's a time and a place... Just because you want to show your body doesn't mean everyone wants to or should have to see it... And uhh what about the young kids that shouldn't be seeing that?
@Brainsbeforebeauty "Just because you want to show your face doesn't mean everyone wants to or should have to see it" I dont like to look at people who I think are extremely unattractive. Should they be required to cover their face? You for some reason are bothered by others showing different parts if their body. I'm not. It's impossible to accommodate everyone. If you're bothered by it, thats your problem. Just don't look. Young kids seeing what? If you don't want your kids to be comfortable with nudity and view showing certain body parts as indecent then that's on you. Not all parents feel that way.
Oh yeah, there's parents that want their young 12-13 year olds to show their naked bodies in the internet so old men can jack off to it, yeah that's great parenting... And if you think insulting my pic really bothers me, nice try but no dice. See, I don't look too what people think about me on the internet to validate myself... People usually have to resort to petty insults when they have no valid point, but hey, keep at it🤣
@Brainsbeforebeauty Yikes. Lmao I used that in quotation marks as an example. I was in no way talking about your face particularly or calling you ugly lol. You said "want to show your body" so I was just substituting FACE for body. Sorry about the miscommunication/understanding on that part.
Also, you asked about the young kids who shouldn't be "seeing" that. Not "doing" that. As @Andro36 said thats the parent's responsibility to monitor your child.

We all are very different.
Some love attention, but don't feel they should be shamed and bullied for being who they are.
It would be no different then a sexually free person mocking a more conservative person for not being more sexually free.
I think the real question is why can't we all just stay in our own lane and allow others to enjoy who they want to be without being shamed for it.
Okay, I'm not moving anyone, but trying to show women they don't have to sexualize themselves to get attention... And to do so on a site like this that has young users, what message are you sending to those young impressionable girls?

Well, having dated a lot of women, I can say when I found out that many women had a need to feel sexy. . . that was the trip wire for me.
And I of course, took advantage of women because of that need.
That's the point. Women are letting themselves be taken advantage of? How does that really make them feel sexy, shouldn't that make them feel more low to be taken advantage of instead of really finding the love they seek
Well, I am sure that being taken advantage of does not feel nice. It is about what comes before. The compliments, the flirting, the coaxing. . .
It is something I had no idea about when I was young. And when I became a jerk. . . I hurt a lot of people.
That's why I say "nice guys" are not nice. They are just in the pre-jerk stage.
At least you admit it
I am not proud of it. And hurting those women is among the biggest regret of my life.
We all make mistakes, it's about what we do about them, and that we try not to repeat them🤗🤗
Attention seeking behavior, as is the case with many, MANY women.
Not all though, definitely not me.. Mine was for my man and my man only
My question is, why do you care? Does it affect you?
I, myself see nothing wrong with it, as long as they aren't doing it on an app that's designed for children, and promote they do it as well. Some women have poor body image and confidence, so they want to get validation, which isn't the best way, but if they're grown adults, they can do it.

People usually have to resort to petty insults when they have no valid point, but hey, keep at it🤣
Oh and I could of stooped to your level and asked if that's you in your profile pic, you should look at your own before insulting someone else's...
@Brainsbeforebeauty Yikes. Lmao
I used that in quotation marks as an example.
I feelso bad now, lmao.
I promise I wasn't calling you ugly. 😭😭
It's okay, all good 👍
