Is he shy, lazy or liar?

Around two months ago my friends told this guy, who I really like, that I liked him and that he should talk to me. he said he would "see what he could do". but it's been that long and nothing has happened, I actually don't like him anymore but I was just wondering why he didn't even utter a word? he's pretty quiet but still. why do you think he didn't talk to me?

First of all, don't get someone to go up to someone and do spy work or match making for you, it almost always never works out at all. Second, if you like him you need to try to talk to him yourself and signal your interest, if he doesn't make a move or flirt back obviously he is not interested. Also, this guy probably doesn't even know you like him and most likely isn't interested in you at all, or even if he is just a little, he won't talk to you if he senses he can be rejected by you

I think he isn't that interested or really shy. I don't see why you would call him lazy or a liar when he hasn't shown he is either one of them
