Over here (Sweden) women do. I have never ever, in my life, been on anything resembling a date without the girl at least offering to split or pay our own.

Traditionally women were not expected to have an equal income and so that is where men paying comes from - today women in normal dating age has a higher income.

Realistically the best modern argument to not split is that being asked out should not have to carry costs unless told so beforehand. If someone takes someone else out to a restaurant without checking everything beforehand that second person lacks a say in whether or not they can/are willing to pay for it. As such the person asking would be expected to either pay or inform the other person.

That is wholly incorrect and we both know it. Although with our age of consent being at 15, parts of Europe are as low as 14, it isn't unthinkable that someone could be a legal pedophile of sorts.

However I assure you an actual court will accuse people of the same crime regardless of sex of the perpetrator. People in general do of course tend to view women with more leniency. Especially if attractive.

I truthfully do not know what you're on about. Sex does not change laws here. Any subjective difference in treatment and severity of punishment is found globally.

The notion of legality came from comparing age of consent between countries. If one country places it at 18 and another at 14, from the view of the first someone who is with a 14 year old would have been a pedophile whereas in the second country while it may be shunned it is legal.
