Based on the answers of the two questions in this series, I can say..."women want men to change and men want their woman to stay the same" that this saying is true. I may ask that as a question also.

She's pretty much the same woman I befriended and dated over 14 years ago: always cheerful, always positive.

The COVID lockdown has changed things a bit in that she has become even more into her books (she's always been an avid reader). We've both become rather homebodies during this period since our main go-to for spending our spare time was going out and spending time with our mutual friends or throwing home parties. We haven't been able to do that much and it hasn't been as interesting with the lockdown (ex: having to wear a mask most of the time in a restaurant).

I think that's just due to the conditions right now. We're both still the same overall characters as when we started.

One thing about her is that she's really into Buddhism. I'm not sure if she actually believes any of the supernatural and mystical parts of it but she's really close to a master of the whole inner peace thing and maintaining a very positive and cheerful outlook towards life. I think that's one reason she hasn't really changed so much. She has a very resilient kind of mindset that can manage to stay positive even during difficult times.

Well, one thing -- come to think of it -- is that our interests have changed a little bit since we've absorbed some of each other's interests. For example, some of my favorite foods (a lot of Western food) have become her favorite food and some of her favorite food (Indian food, for example) have become mine. Similar case with music and things of this nature.

Yup... she use to cook clean... make me chocolate chip cookies... used to suck and fuck more... now pretty much doesn't do any of that. at least when i was single dating... i got some of the above... cooking and cleaning goes a loooooonnnng way. If its a reasonable want... i will find away...

Yes, for the better. And she helped me change for the better as well.
We are both still ourselves, neither if us demanded the other to be something we are not. But we did influenced each other to be the best versions of ourselves. And that's how relationships should be.

Yes, she did.
She had some childhood trauma to heal, finally could let her guard down and became more feminine than she was when we just went out.
