Is it weird to leave a girl a birthday present on her doorstep?

If you are friends but you don't see each other much.
There was a bit of flirting between you but because she is not a good texter (even her friends told me she is a bad texter with them) you don't text one another often.
And if she lives with her family.
Will she find it embarrassing?
Or will she like it?
On my birthday she messaged me wishing me a good birthday.
So, is it a good idea or bad idea?
