Is it wrong for my girlfriend to ask people for stuff for her birthday?

Ok so my girlfriend of 6 months just had a birthday and she wanted an iPad I couldn’t afford it and so then she went on her social and was asking people for money so she could buy it for her. I kinda got mad because she was basically getting money from guys that like her and are in her dms, should she be asking for this kind of stuff with a boyfriend or am I’m out of line?

I find that weird and entitled behaviour. It doesn’t matter what gender is giving her money, she shouldn’t be asking for it from strangers on the internet unless it’s like a GoFundMe or something for an emergency medical expense or funeral expense. I don’t believe in asking strangers for money to buy something non essential.

If guys that like her are in her DMS and you are still with her, and still calling her your girlfriend... then you are not exhibiting any self respect. Therefore she will mirror the same behavior by having none for you.

You're in line to be mad, but you could also say you're fortunate enough you wasn't able to buy her an iPad. Because she getting her own iPad from the streets 😂
