I matched with a girl on a dating app (yea I know I'm embarrassed about it) 7 months ago. I asked her out on a date 3 times and on the 3rd time she said that I (me) own a lot of stuff (like a car, house, career) while she is still in college and doesn't have any of that. She basically said I was too good for her but still want to be friends with me. We still exchange memes/reels almost everyday until yesterday we started talking about her Taekwondo tournaments.

And she invited me to her tournaments to watch her. I agreed which did make her happy. She initiates texts a lot and gets really involved in the conversation's, she also ask's question's about me time from time. Honestly not sure man. It could be a friend zone thing. It’s a bit of an odd excuse to friendzone someone. She could be telling the truth and feel like she can’t contribute to the relationship financially yet.
