Curious about this, so I was at the gym the other day & there’s this girl that I think might have a crush on me or maybe she's just being friendly. I noticed on that day on that day after she approached me because she hasn't seen me at the gym for a week or so she greeted me and ask me where I’ve been what I’m working on just gym conversation, but then I noticed that she would almost get nervous when she had to move closer to me to make way for other people in the gym to get by, then she would back up & it happened multiple times. I don’t think anything of it, it just hit me like there’s no way she’s crushing on me because of our age gap she knows my age and I know hers. I’m real social & motivational in the gym we are there to work on our physical but also inspire & motivate others.. but back to my question, maybe my observation is wrong or I’m over analyzing I’m curious on the feed back. Dude I dunno, that kinda sounds like she might be feelin you a bit. Girls don't usually get all nervous and shy like that around guys they're just friends with.
Could be the age difference has her second guessing things too I guess. But the fact that she sought you out to say hi after not seeing you for a week is a good sign. And like you said, she was hanging around talking gym stuff instead of just saying hi and bouncing.
I'd pay attention next time you see her at the gym. Does she find excuses to come over by you more? Does she act kinda shy if you make eye contact? Those would be signs she's probably into you.
If you wanna tell for sure, maybe ask her for a spotting session on a heavy lift or something. See how she acts up close and personal like that. If all goes well, ask for her number after "to stay in touch on workouts." Worst she can say is no, but I think you've got a good chance man! Don't count it out till you know for sure. Let me know what happens bro!
