Why do girls sometimes only talk to a certain guy when the guy is alone?

I've noticed this with a girl I like. If I'm alone the girl I like will talk to me more. Otherwise if I'm with someone she barely says anything to me

I’m kind of like that with my boyfriend. I prefer to be with him one on one cause his attention is more focused on me. And I hate third wheeling so I prefer not to hangout with him and his friends even tho he tries to include me. Maybe she is just more comfortable with just talking to you about a lot of stuff and not so much with other people around.

She seems always happy to see me regardless. She always waves to me. I noticed when the two of us had never even spoken she just started waving and smiling at me. Like acting overly happy to see me

But she literally just serves me when I buy a coffee. She always lights up when she sees me. She even waves to me every time and seems happy to see me.

And no she is always there regardless. But she is alone and I'm alone she'll have a more in depth conversation

It seems like it’s mixed signals. Be in a group one day like you and 2-3 people to see if she’ll act the same way.

What about the fact she accepted my friend request on facebook. She always says hello to me regardless and acts happy to see me. At first she seemed overly happy to see someone she didn't know. When we started talking it was like we already knew each other as it was so easy
