I personally LOVE my menstrual cup! I will tell any person that they should try it for 3 months (the first you learn how to put it in, the second you figure out how to take it out without blood getting all over & third is the real test). I went from using a third or more of a box of super tampons that I had to make special trips to the potty to change, to the cup that I only had to change when I used the potty. You learn a LOT about your menstrual health with the cup, there is zero risk of TSS, and there is zero "dryness" that makes taking out a tampon somewhat painful! It also helped shorten my periods because it was more "free flowing" than a tampon "plug".
But since having my son & getting an IUD, my period has all but disappeared.
I use all three. Mainly the cup and a thin pad, since the cup sometimes leak. And then I sometimes use a tampon if I am going to do sports or swim.
I have a BC implant. Only side effect is my periods stopped about 7 years ago. So no need to use anything. Saves money, too!
don't you miss your period? sometimes mine gives me stress and makes me annoyed but if i skip a month or if it comes late i miss it... lol it's true
@Starlight007 No, I got so used to not having them. It scared the hell out of me when I missed the first time. I new I could not be pregnant. I had never had a boyfriend.
I wouldn’t be here without my cups. Lifesavers. Or frustration savers.. Always pads as back-up. Never tampons.
Pads.
I wanted to try using tampon once, because of the outfit I chose, but couldn’t manage to use it, so I keep using pads.
Soft Discs! Can wear them up to 12 hours with no leakage and can have sex with it as well.
I'm a Tampon girl during the day, and a Pad girl at night.
Tampons then on the lighter days toward the end a pad
I don't use TSS. Thankfully there are other options.
depends... I use all three depending on what I need
Tampons were comfortable but now I'm scared of them.
Pads but sometimes period underwear (you can get really good ones at bonds or modibody, and they're a lot better for the environment and they're reusable so you don't have to spend so much money) 😄
Sometimes it's so heavy I need A & B.
Pads. It's all I have in the house.
Combination of both A and B
I use pads all the way!
