I possibly got another candidate who wants me to ask her out?

I got another female candidate ( late 30s - early 40s ) who possibly wants me to ask her out. Each time I tried to back off from asking her out. It just gives me more and more encouragement on asking her. It’s like my instincts are telling me it’s ok on asking her out. The candidate In question has some rare traits I rarely never encountered before.

I'd ask myself why I was backing off. If the reason you backed off is still valid then I would keep it moving. You can always ask a woman out -- assuming you don't work with her & she's not dating anyone you know or married to somebody.

When I seen her the first couple of times I didn’t notice the Diamond ring until now. Plus I thought it’s rude to ask them if there single or not.

My opinion is off the wall -- I did take the time to look back over your profile. Plus, you don't say if these traits are positives or negatives --- I would judge some to be positive and some to be negatives. But, that is just my perspective.
In any case, at your age, you should be aware of what "tilts your kilt". You do seem hesitant. My guess is there is something in your instincts that you both desire and are afraid of.
Desire and fear are tough task masters. Each have elements of "inability to control the outcome". Your physical life is not defenseless --- is your vulnerability (I count that as confidence) in your emotions flexible enough to withstand the risks?
