She has an older sister but i've never meet her or even knew she existed?

i've been friends with this girl for some time now , anyways she mentioned the other day she had to go to a college graduation ceremony in another city for her sisters graduation as it was delayed by covid and that she actually graduated a couple years ago

but never heard of this sister , i've seen her instagram and is no pictures of her what so ever , but wasn't any pictures of her family which i though was weird

we've also hung out all the time at this pub where she works and never seen her there either , never mentioned her once. her last name is fairly common so perhaps i've heard about her before and didn't realise they were related but can't picture who this person is

i'm not sure if her sister still lives in this area? its possible she left after graduating , it seems odd is no pictures of them together

I'm pretty private about my family because people follow their social media to see pictures of me.

its an older sister so i doubt she'd be worried if people see a picture of her , its usually younger sisters that can be an issue if there being exposed to other people

" she " its her sister , but agree that might be a possibility but the university she graduated from is fairly popular and well known often a party school so that indicate she was well known and social , she also lives like 20 or 30 minutes away from restaurant so maybe sister never comes into this area or different social circle

but still seems odd is no pictures of her , i can't get her instagram to work anymore so i can't look through and try and find , it was private and my account doesn't log in anymore

i just came across an obituary online that mentions her name so she does exist but can't find anything else about her , she does seem to be very low profile , can't even find a recent picture

also a post from that college from a virtual graduation from 2021 that mentions her name so she did go there

although nothing at all on social media about her , checked facebook , twitter , vsco , she had a page on linked in but it was old and not updated

wonder if she's on instagram but account doesn't work anymore and had seen sisters before and was nothing about her there

i checked online is graduation ceremonies there this week on the days she said she wasn't going to be here and this city is 4 or 5 hours away from here so no other reason for her to go there

but said limited to 2 guests , so how is she getting in if her parents go? or is she going with just 1 parent? and why would just 1 parent go ,

wonder if maybe something about her family she doesn't like to discuss , maybe divorced or seperated , would also explain why she's going to graduation with only 1 parent , perhaps they don't get along

but if there is issues there it might be a bad topic to bring up and one she likely avoids , also never seen any of her family at the restaurant , other staff i have at times seen parents or family come in , never anyone related to her there
