Long story short she's thinking she has some kind of advantage but it's just in her mind how would she feel if I tell her that

I would not tell her anything. Just treat her as an equal in your friendship or relationship, and laugh at her when her narcissism leads her to assume stupid things. It will lead to some needed conversations, perhaps even angry ones. Be prepared for one or more of several reactions:
She will avoid the situation and attempt to "gaslight" you back into her sense of reality.
She will find a reason to implement controlling behavior. When/ it fails to work she will find a reason to end the relationship.
She will do the above but cheat on you. It's her way of keeping you around while she is replacing you.

I would find someone that I can ask out but have not due to me being in a relationship. When she pulls the break-up move, immediately date the other person and allow yourself to be seen with her. It's fun to show narcissists you replaced them in a day.
