This girl seems to decide I am not worth being friends with anymore because of this?

There is this girl who I met on a dating app, we've met before, and talked on video pretty much every week, for a year and a half or so. I thought it was unclear, like we were friends, but the possibility was at least left open. The conversation got to a point where I said something along the lines of "Of course I'm leaving the door open" and then she said she's closing those doors... in a way that kind of offended me... so I let her know it bothered me.. like yes, if we're just friends that's cool, but you're going to 100% rule out ANY possibility? Now doesn't even seem interested in talking anymore... ignored my last two texts over the past 2 months. Just rude. Acts like she's different than other people, then treats me that way.

I mean, maybe that month was enough for her to realize you have no value to add to her life.

I've done this with some men in mine, they're kinda deadbeat white boys. Nothing they can offer me - including their company and friendship - would improve my life. And I'm not really into spending time and energy on people who don't make my life better.

I don't have enough time on Earth for that.

I have to dedicate what little time I do have to finding and building a network of people I can call my tribe or my family.

No one owes you friendship. And you don't want friends who just put up with you - you want friends who love you and care for you.

You're not gonna be everyone's cuppa tea. That's something you have to accept and move past.
