Why does my friend always bring up things she knows I’m insecure about?

Why does she bring them up and point them out even when they’re not relevant to the conversation? Is there a point?

Seems like an asshole and immature attitude to me. I once throwed up after a party and one friend started bringing that to conversations out of the sudden, just act casual, when they see they can't affect you they'll either stop cuz the joke isn't working or they might get more intense and end up looking like true assholes. This is your signal to become stronger girl, and to check who you're surrounded by.
