Why is Teen Angst edgy and cool?

I actually love teen angst lmfao, the portrayal of it, anyway. I don’t know if it’s “edgy” or “cool” per se, but I find it relatable, and as a guy who’s probably just kind of in arrested development at an age well south of mine😂

I love the vibrance and emotion that life held as a teenager, your whole life ahead of you, yet you still don’t totally get what lies ahead. So I think there’s just always an open door in my soul for things of that nature. I’m a big fan of pop punk music of the late 90s through the late 00s. Hits me right in the throwback feels. Wanting girls you couldn’t get, drama with girls you did get, or in happier times, the thrill of pursuing them and getting them, your parents trying to stop you from fucking, basically, lmfao…. it’s all gold. (Pause to duck rotten tomatoes from rock n roll purists😂 Don’t be so snobby, enjoy it for what it is and plug into being 17 again lmao) I somehow missed this song called “Check Yes, Juliet” by a band called We The Kings. Once I left my job at Hollister Co I fell out of the loop on that genre, haha, this probably came out like the last year this music was cool. But holy shit, I have to keep running it back, just brings me back to being a teenager and ducking the disapproving dads who knew I was trying to get my whistle wet😂😂😂
