I don’t care about that unless he’s a politician or investor or needs to know legal rules for a business or source of revenue he has, it’s just impersonal abstractions that do not improve your quality of life once you have all you need, like I don’t have to research politics to know which candidate is right cause it’s so clear based on news info.

When I say politics, it’s not just referring to politicians it’s also money, history, ideologies, having a deep understanding of various topics.

Not exactly. He can be passionate about comics and video games and I’d still be turned on. I just like a guy with a hobby

But when it comes to world issues and being well versed in important areas of discussion, I think its crucial to know things and not just follow things by what the media constantly says. Because many people follow what the media puts out there and then spew that information as if they are 100% correct. Trust me, it doesn't make someone look "smart" it makes them look foolish. As a guy who is of Middle Eastern decent, western media makes countries like Iran to be the enemy and unliveable. But you go there, food is amazing, people are nice, its safe, beautiful architecture, and etc. I guess I learned it from my dad, because my dad knew so much about history, when I was younger I thought it was pointless to know those things. But eventually I went to university and majored in that field.

Yeah, i agree. And I’m still trying to understand it all myself and figure out what to believe. I’m glad you don’t go by what just the media says, and you’re well educated. Like I said it’s a turn on, especially because now that I’m older, I’m more interested, but also, like I said, if the guy is passionate about at least one thing, even baseball.. and plays baseball for the county, I think that’s very sexy. Even if it’s something im not interested in.

Yes, but he also has to have a cool temper when discussing his views on it as well. Usually when insults begin to fly out of his mouth, I lose respect and see him as an immature know-it-all.
