I don't mind smart girls. But we have to be at the same level (education, etc.).

No. Smart girls tend to talk "over" me so I don't really go for them.

I'm into girls around my level of intelligence and I'd like to think that's intelligent.

But it's not just how intelligent they are. They could have the ability to absorb information and apply it really quickly, be excellent conversationalists and be able to come up with remarks easily, and it wouldn't matter if their views don't align with mine.

It's not necessarily just how intelligent they are, but how they think and process information. It's extremely important for me to have similar views with my partner.

I have a high (formally tested) IQ and am generally considered to be pretty up there in smarts (though I've definitely met smarter people than myself), but I interact with average people every day and I have no issue with that. As long as a woman can hold an average conversation, I'm satisfied in that area. I've definitely met girls who were too dumb to spend time around, but that's the exception, not the rule.

Certainly, I *appreciate* a smart woman, and have dated a couple of girls who were around my level, and it was nice to be able to have higher-level conversations at times, or have her know things that I didn't. That was nice to have, but it's not really a priority for me. Other things are far more important, like loyalty and respect.
