The guy responses here are largely pathetic and a poor excuse. Having been that "nice" guy who was always rejected, I can tell you (good) women look for a man with genuine personality. Someone funny, but mature. isn't afraid to be himself, can take criticism with professionalism tact and not explode into a whiny man child. He is aware of himself, knows what he wants, and knows how to get there. Has ambition, goals and dreams AND actively works towards them. Consistent, even when its inconvenient for him, because he recognizes the needs of others before his own. Someone who projects himself and naturally takes lead, not because he's a dick, but because he knows what needs to be done, he's earned the respect of others and because no one else would do it. Responsible.

Once you achieve this status, your problem becomes keeping women away...

Notice not one female said anything about physical features or looks. Although they are attracted to that, it's not a priority as with males. However, I have to factor in the formula; they act and say the opposite of what they feel. Hmm...

I think the more productive question here would be; "On the onset of SEEING strangers; various men in public, what physical features do females find attractive?"

Honesty, loyalty, good sense of humour, not addicted to porn, share similar interests/hobbies, close relationships with their family and chooses their friends wisely.

A lot of guys seem to think women only care about money or looks but that just tells me they’re finding the wrong kinds of women, there’s always shitty people in both men and women. I personally don’t give a shit about someone’s income aslong as they’re not homeless/mooching off of me financially and I don’t care about looks as long as they’re not morbidly obese to the point that they can’t get off their butt or keep good hygiene ie shower often.

The most attractive thing for me is when the man actually has a common sense.

I also appreciate if the man is altruistic, funny (I like sarcasm and black humor), but isn't afraid to be kind in public.

I always have such a big smile on my face everytime my boyfriend goes for my hand and holds it (in public). It's so simple but I love it and then when he gives me the typical boyish smile and looks at me lovingly.

I like a guy with good intentions, like if he wants to make you feel important or special, that is super attractive. The guy I used to like would volunteer to edit my papers, buy me things, give me rides, introduce me to his friends, walk me home at night to protect me, listen to my problems etc…

He is intelligent, has a stable job, dresses well (slacks, button-ups, etc.), is hygienic, doesn't take himself too seriously, can hold a good conversation, and is mature. Looks play into it, but if you dress well and have your shit together, you can go from a 5 to a 6.
