Why do women want a traditional man, when they're not willing to be a tradional woman?

Women have changed and men have adjusted to modern women. What is the incentive for a man to give you all these old fashion stuff that you want. You want these old fashion men who throw coats on puddles and get on one knee and marry you, yet the old fashion woman is dead. You're all modern women now. Sex is easy to get from women, but are wanting it less.

Yeah men chase for short term stuff. For mens it's embarrassing to chase women long term given their attitude towards him. "Why don't men step up?" "why don't you love the person disrespecting you?"

Why aren't men chasing? If no customers are walking threw the door of your restaurant, there is no point in blaming the customer.

What even is a traditional man or woman? Who's traditions? Which things are you referring to as far as change? Everything seems the same to me. Most people are dumb, most people are unloyal, and most people are boring.

I don't think I'd even want a traditional woman. Even while I was growing up, I imagined my wife would be part of an exception rather than part of a rule.

I want the cute weirdo who has no local friends, liked dinosaurs and robots before it was cool, and knows how much better 5th and 6th generation consoles were for gaming compared to today's.

I want the woman who, as a child, freaked out her parents by keeping wild snakes in her room. The woman who grew into a science nerd and sci-fi/fantasy buff, the woman who can tell me how many transformations goku has and why some make no sense, and why the price hike on collectables sucks ass.

But no, all I can find is sluts, travel junkies, and basic maid housewives, no thank you.

1. The Latin "quid pro quo", and

2. They can't have their proverbial cake and eat it too.

I assume you're talking about chivalry. I really couldn't care less about that sort of thing - if I had a partner, I would want it to be mutually caring, none of that formal "oh m'lady I MUST pull out your chair or open this door for you because I am MAN and you are WOMAN" schtick. Expecting the guy to pay on a first date because he's got a sausage in his pants? Nah, let's split it. So I guess I'm an untraditional woman looking for an untraditional man then, I dunno.

I am not agreeing that, that is the case but it would be advantageous for the female. She would get the best of both worlds without having to do her half.
